MAJOR SERVICES

• Setup the service list to match the services already performed in your business – no need to change for the software.
• Services can be defined as being due by kilometres, days or hours to match the vehicle type
• Allocate cost of each service directly to the vehicle profit and loss account in Jaix Accounts and credit the workshop cost centre
• Link Services to pickup that a minor service has been completed during a major service.

VEHICLES

• Create custom vehicle groups to make vehicle management easier, for example LINE-HAUL and FORKLIFTS
• Can assign specific services to vehicle groups. This prevents a user from entering a forklift service on a truck for example.
• Can assign specific repairs and components to specific vehicle groups.
• Setup allows users to record vehicle usage by either kilometres or hours

MAINTENANCE RECORDS

• Record accurately the maintenance performed on a vehicle.
• Allows for detailed service and maintenance history, particularly useful when selling a vehicle.
• Maintenance can include any combination of servicing, repairs and components.

COMPONENTS

• Create an inventory of standard components used for vehicle maintenance and services.
• Allows increased accuracy in recording the maintenance performed on vehicles.
• Create Component Groups to make large component lists more manageable and easy allocation to specific vehicle groups.

REPAIRS

• Setup individual repairs that may need to be performed separate to servicing.
• Allocate costs per hour of these repairs that can be posted to a vehicle.
• Create Repair Groups to make large repair lists more manageable, and can be allocated to specific vehicle groups.
